A few weeks ago, I was tasked with making a poster for this short film. I looked up some old movie posters for inspiration - Oooh, this one, i thought to myself. Africa Texas Style!!

The words written to Lee were inspired by a great writer of old. Ava Berkau, discovered this handwritten note with her father before the script was ever written...

Between takes, there was laughter, shared joy, and a strong sense of togetherness as we watched Lee's story unfold.

He carries more than a backpack and fishing gear into the woods. He carries grief, expectation, and the weight of a relationship that never had enough time to unfold.
